Vision-Box has been chosen to set up a trial project in the Netherlands main Airport, Schiphol. Using this new automatic border control system, the Dutch Ministry of Justice aims to reduce the waiting time and the queues involved in passport control.
The system works with the new European Union Passports that contain a biometric chip, that is afterwards compared with the data collected by Vision-Box’ system at the Airport. Thus allowing to Shiphol Airport passengers a more pleasant experience, granting the high security level in border control and now security officers can focus their attention in critical issues.
The Dutch Justice Minister has attended the launch of the system in the past 26th May, and made very positive comments just after passing through the Vision-Box electronic gate.

Vision-Box has participated in the 24th, 25th May in Warsaw, in the Frontex event dedicated to the Future of Border Management in Europe, in the second day it also took place The European Day of Border Guards. Frontex is an European agency based in Warsaw, and was created as a specialized and independent body tasked to coordinate the operational cooperation between Member States in the field of border security. Frontex has gathered in this initiative several entities relevant to Vision-Box business and we were able to establish promising contacts with numerous members of the Ministries of Interior and Aliens and Border Services.
The event overall result was very positive, and once more Vision-Box stood out as a leader in the electronic border clearance system, delivering an unique and innovative technology. Hopefully, Vision-Box will continue to broaden its customer database, reinforcing our leadership and predicting new market trends, so that we can always be one step ahead of the competition.
