Vision-Box was present both as a speaker and an exhibitor in the 1st Conference on Technical Cooperation Border Management in Bangkok, Thailand, from 19-21 January 2010.
Senior Vice President Miguel Leitmann, delivered a presentation on “Integrated Border Management: Creating conditions for a faster border clearance process while increasing security”.
This event is the largest Asia Pacific meeting of National Government Agencies including Immigration, Border Control, Customs and other agencies with responsibilities in the area of Border Management, organised by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and the Asia Pacific Smart Card Association (APSCA).
International organisations joined together to inform Asian passport and border agencies which included the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Interpol, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Executive Directorate (UNCTED), Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), World Customs Organisation (WCO), European Union (EU) and ASEAN.
