As an add-on to its successful VB-SentrySpider intelligent security management solution, Vision-Box®  has developed the VBPlayer application. Video sequences may be exported from VB-SentrySpider® in a secure, encrypted format and subsequently decrypted and visualised using the Vision-Box VBPlayer application for Microsoft Windows®. The principal features of VBPlayer can be summarised as follows:

• Standalone – ideal for situations in which an online network connection to the VB-SentrySpider server is not available, for example, when presenting video evidence to a law enforcement agency.
• Provides native support for the Vision-Box proprietary encrypted video file format, therefore avoiding the potential security risk of converting to standard video formats such as MPEG.
• Highest-quality visualisation is obtained since no transcoding is necessary.
• Easy and intuitive control of playback, allowing frame-by frame analysis.
• Compatible with Microsoft Windows 8®.
